Prompt lawn care service and dependability is a top priority! Our mowing crews follow the same route every week. These routes are optimized for best efficiency, which helps keep our prices low. For our new customers, we will inform you of what day of the week we are in your neighborhood. Sometimes though, we do get behind schedule, this is usually due to weather delays. During this time, you may find us working on the weekends or working late. If your lawn hasn’t been mowed by 5 pm, don’t worry….we are probably right around the corner.
We won’t melt….we promise! During times where we get a light rain move in, we will simply take a break and wait for the rain to move out. However, if we get a significant amount of rain, we will postpone mowing and continue the next day. The health of your lawn is more important to us than staying on schedule, and we won’t risk damaging your lawn. A good rule of thumb is that for each day of rain we get, that’s how many days we will be behind schedule. During the rainy months, sometimes we need to allow extra time for the ground to dry out, even if it’s a beautiful sunny day. In order to get back on schedule and mow lawns on their normal days, we work late as possible and through the weekend. With the bigger delays, you might find your lawn being mowed 5 days apart. This is to avoid excessively long grass and is a healthy way to get back on your normal mow day.
We enjoy hearing from our customers, and take the time to listen to your requests. Our goal is for your lawn to look its absolute best and sometimes a skip can do more harm than good. For example, skipping a scheduled mow during the peak growing season, may cause us to have to double/triple cut your lawn, due to the height of the grass. In addition, bagging clippings will also incur additional fees and disposal charges. Not only is a skip unhealthy to your lawn but the following mowing can get quite expensive. If you do request a skip, it must be communicated to the office via text or email, 24 hours before you are scheduled to be mowed. This allows us enough time to process your request.
For the best looking lawns that look healthy and manicured….we highly recommend weekly service. If bi-weekly service is requested, additional fees will apply. Please be advised that most lawns will not look their best with less than a weekly lawn mowing service.
We love healthy lawns! Sometimes though, the fertilizer and watering schedule does too good of a job. Grass that is above average in height will require some extra attention. A standard mowing will just leave clippings everywhere and will look unsightly days afterward. To keep your lawn healthy, we will double cut the lawn or bag it, depending on which is most economical. An additional charge will be applied.
Gates: If you lock your gate, feel free to share with us the code or key location. If you prefer to unlock the gate yourself, please ensure the gate is unlocked on your designated mowing day. Don’t forget that the weather can affect your scheduled mowing day. Please make sure that your gate remains unlocked until we can service your lawn. If our crews arrive and the gate is locked, they will only mow the areas they have access to. On occasion, our crews are able to make a return visit to mow an area that was missed due to a locked gate. However, a trip charge will be accessed.
Pets: Our crews love animals and understand the importance of keeping gates closed and locked. However, we do recommend if possible, that you secure your pet indoors during your scheduled mowing day. If you have any special needs for your pets, please communicate with our office. For sanitary reasons, please remove animal waste from mowing areas prior to your scheduled mowing day.
Items: All toys, water hoses, extension cords, etc should be cleared prior to your mowing day. We can not be held liable for damage to items left on the lawn since they may not be easily visible while mowing.
Watering your lawn is a very good thing…..watering your lawn 10 minutes before we show up to mow, not so much. Please be mindful of when your sprinkler system is set to activate in relation to your mow day. A dry lawn looks so much better after it’s been mowed than when it’s still wet. We recommend having your irrigation system finished by 7 am. That way, even with a delay in service, we can arrive at a dry lawn.
Our mowing crews are always careful around obstacles like sprinkler heads. Accidents do happen and when a sprinkler head fails to lower back into the ground, it may get damaged. If we damage a sprinkler head or drain cap, please contact us within a week of the damage and we will repair or replace the damaged item at our discretion. Low voltage wiring should be safely buried underground. If a wire is exposed, it may not be easily seen while weed eating or pruning. We can not be held responsible for damage to wiring. We will, however, be glad to repair your wiring and properly bury it to prevent future damage.
We are dedicated to delivering quality services to your complete satisfaction. If you feel that our work is not satisfactory, simply let us know within 24 hours and we will send a crew out to resolve the issue. If you have a question if the service has been completed, please contact our office. We will review our GPS tracking information and dashcam footage to verify service completion.
Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. We take pride in servicing your lawn and look forward to maintaining it, year after year. Simply put, you don’t need to lift a finger. Services continue automatically into the next year until we receive written notice that you wish to stop service
Sometimes, it just can’t be avoided, but we do try our best to resolve any issue that doesn’t meet your satisfaction. To stop service, all we ask is that you give us notification through email or text at least 1 day before your scheduled service. This gives us the opportunity to remove you from our mowing route the day prior.
